Listen! When it comes to bite-sized food and appetizers and entrées… *screams in fangirl* I’m obsessed! I love tiny food. I love it. And anything that pairs with BREAD…. GIVE IT TO ME!! This Honey Balsamic Peach Crostini is both ridiculously easy and also mind-blowingly delicious.
When it comes to simple recipes, I don’t know if it is just me but I always feel like if it’s THAT easy, it can’t possibly taste good. WRONG! It can. And it does. For the longest time, I used to think that in order to get premium bougie elevated flavors, you need hours upon hours of work. And while that does hold true in some cases, it is not a rule! Huh, who knew?
This Peach Crostini recipe is so simple and it looks and tastes incredible. It’s perfect to serve for a crowd or to take with you on a picnic. It’s great for when you want to treat yourself to something that much better.
What flavors can you expect?
I’m using a few herbs that are super flavorful and pack a punch. You can expect to enjoy the following flavors:
- Tangy (from the balsamic glaze)
- Sweet (from the honey)
- Peppery and woodsy (from the rosemary)
- Fresh (from the peaches)
- Creamy (from the cream cheese)
What is the difference between crostini and bruschetta?
The main difference lies in the type of bread you use.
- The bread used in crostini is usually a round and small, fine textured loaf – usually like a white bread baguette.
- With bruschetta, a more rustic sourdough loaf is used that is generally wider.
The similarity between the two, however, lies in the fact that both are toasted.
This recipe is beginner-friendly and doesn’t need a lot of work. But, it does use ingredients that you would not normally have lying around. That being said, I did try to keep it as simple as possible while not compromising on flavor.
I did not include measurements for this recipe because you can scale down or up according to your liking. Plus, you measure with your heart in this one.
