I discovered my love for cooking and baking after moving abroad for college in 2016. Since then I have come a long way. I love experimenting with different cuisines from the world over and expressing my creativity in the form of food art.
I am a Digital Marketing Specialist and Creative Lead by profession. When I’m not whisking aggressively or baking through the day, I like to read, paint and design. I hope to bring my love for art, incredible flavors, and gorgeous aesthetics altogether on every recipe fresh from my kitchen.
When I moved to Turkey in 2016, I was met with a massive cultural shock that was backed by a severe language barrier. That left me with no idea how to get food or even where to get it from.
So I was forced to figure my way around the kitchen so I could feed myself. And so, blossomed an incredible love for making and creating food from every cuisine I stumbled across with any and every flavor I ever tasted.
My upbringing in a half Arab, half Pakistani household enabled me to experience a beautiful amalgamation of the Middle Eastern and South Asian cuisine. Fast forward to Turkey and the marvels of their food culture alongside my travels to England, I have been blessed to try out and experiment flavors from the world over.
And now I bring them all together in my kitchen.
